A dramatic frill of vivid pink gemmy rose quartz crystals aesthetically surrounds a 5.5 cm section of a zoned hexagonal quartz crystal on this sculptural large specimen from this famous Brazilian locale. This striking and outstanding piece is from the well-known 1959-61 finds at this locality, the source of the famous "Van Allen Belt" specimen at the Smithsonian.
