A sculptural vug in novaculate matrix is lined with lustrous, nubby sea-green wavellite botryoids. Vug periphery wear and another face reveal the fantastic radial growth of the acicular crystals with yellow cores. This is a most dramatic and sculptural multi-sided, richly colored wavellite from this well-known Arkansas locale. From the Joe Lobell Collection of Oklahoma.
