Item Description

An impressive and sculptural stacked cluster of doubly terminated, pseudo-hexagonal cyclically twinned aragonite prisms from the famous Type Locality - named in 1797! The sharp, lustrous, translucent prisms have typical zoned purple-gray color and the large crestal crystal is 4.3 cm across. An outstanding floater, complete all-around and nearly pristine, with only trivial edge wear. A fascinating and excellent 360-degree aragonite from the Allen Dillwith Collection.
