RARE and outstanding fluorite and quartz from this most obscure 1970s Durham fluorspar prospect on private property. Transparent to translucent, glassy, pretty purple and white sharp fluorite cubes, to 4.5 cm, are aesthetically intergrown on the sculptural, mounded piece. The rich preferential coating of sparkly, gemmy di-pyramidal (beta style) quartz crystals are super accessories to this exceptional large rarity. Bright purple fluorescence!
