Item Description

Splendent, densely intergrown, metallic-black hematite crystals compose this showy, solid hematite mounded specimen from the historic and ancient iron mines at Rio Marina. The crystals reach about 1.4 cm on this classic hematite. The noted scattered bruising has minimal impact to the excellent quality of this highly representative specimen from the H.R. McBroom and Allen Dillwith Collections.
