Item Description

Sharp, lustrous, translucent, variable brick-red, tabular, hexagonal vanadinite prisms, to 9 mm, compose this sculptural and rich small cabinet from the well-known 2008 finds at Mibladen. The matrix wedge is an excellent accent and some of the crystals have zones of reddish-orange fire under bright light. Common to much of the 2008 finds, some prism faces have a preferential secondary overgrowth of tan oxide-included vanadinite, adding an interesting visual aspect to these fine and classic Mibladen vannies.
