A gorgeous rich cranberry-red, gemmy and lustrous rubellite is dramatically framed by upright pearlescent cleavendite blades on this superb and aesthetic small cabinet from the incredible 1978 find at the Jonas Mine. This find is considered the most iconic tourmaline pocket in modern history and specimens from this find are considered among the most desirable, along with far rarer Blue Cap tourmalines from the Queen Mine. Complete all-around and essentially pristine. Jonas tourmalines are almost magical, and still to this day unequaled for crisp color and value to the collector. It GLOWS, when backlit!
