Item Description

A striking 6.2 cm doubly terminated compound fluorite cuboctahedron is dramatically set on the fluorite, galena and quartz matrix on this impressive combination from the famous Nikolaevskiy Mine at Dal'negorsk. The classic for the locale crystals are the desirable colorless, very glassy and gem-like crystals. The mutiple complex terminations add pizzazz and interest. This imposing large 360-degree crystal is complete all-around and nearly pristine. It's hard to see the slight bruise near the upper termination. Every turn presents a striking different perspective to this fine combination from the Allen Dillwith Collection of Texas. Classic and excellent Dal'negorsk fluorite. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON! The extreme gemminess and glassiness made photography difficult.
