Gypsum is RARE from this obscure Nevada locale. MINDAT does no list the species for Fallon. That being said, this is a sculptural angled "cross" of intergrown lustrous, translucent, layered gypsum spearpoints. Complete all-around and pristine, this is a most interesting and unusal gypsum from this locale. One side has secondary overgrowths of smaller gypsums, adding character.
