Item Description

Native antimony specimens are EXTREMELY RARE from any locality in Sarawak, Borneo. Sparkly silver-metallic microcrystals richly cover all four sides of the massive antimony matrix. Ex Kay Robertson # 6923 and acquired from Kristalle. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record). Not pretty to look at, but this is an important and rare antimony ore specimen from this very obscure locale. Hefty ore at 292 grams mass.
