Colorful, sculptural and classic large smithsonite from the famous 1960s to 80s finds at this famous mine at Choix. Beautiful translucent cotton candy blue and pink botryoids with satin luster faces cover the rolling banded hefty smithsonite matrix. Classic material from this mined out locale, that was documented in a 2011 Mineralogical Record Special Issue. Valued at $1000-1250 for color, size and quality. 1431 grams or 3.1 pounds mass.
