Wavellite is VERY RARE from the famous and ancient mines at Cavnic. This outstanding and colorful small cabinet combination plate features spherical clusters of bone-white acicular wavellite crystals attractively sprinkled on the dramatically contrasting surface of vivid pink rounded aggregates of sparkly, tiny flattened rhodochrosite rhombs. Scattered small quartz points are a nice accent. The underlying matrix is solid massive rhodochrosite. Ex W.S. Logan Rhodochrosite Collection # X129-7. RARE, showy and very choice Cavnic combination material. A must for the species or locality collector.
