Item Description
A sculptural large mass of lustrous, slightly translucent, bone-white opal with striking scalloping and porcelaneous texture. Opal is well-known from this less well-known small serpentinite body (MINDAT), but specimens are seldom on the market. The opal is segmented by matrix, adding character. A STRIKING surprise is the coating or inclusions of fluorescent neon-green hyalite opal! Rare, excellent and large opal from the locality from a Czech collection. 383 grams mass.
