Calcite is RARE from the famous sulfur mines of Agrigento Province. This striking and impressive old-timer hosts two generations of calcite. A dramatic rich jumble of RARE, sharp, elongated rhombs, to 2.0 cm, covers three sides of the sculptural specimen. A second generation of sprays of rare sharp, tiny scalenohedrons richly infill the piece. And there's a bit of sulfur on the back, as a bonus.
