A striking and aesthetic combination from the famous mines at Naica. A "headdress" of diverging calcite stalactites is dramatically perched atop fluorite cubes and pyrite microcrystals. The intergrown, gemmy, classic variable light green to colorless cubes have fantastic stepped-growth accented with shimmering satin luster faces. Stalactitic calcite is uncommon from Naica. Pink calcite and purple fluorite fluorescence. The sculptural quality of this older 1960s to 80s piece is over the top.
