Here we have one of the great old classics from Mexico! This rare potassium, silver, copper chloride is one of the great beautiful rarities that is highly sought after by collectors. This piece is a rare matrix specimen of Boleite featuring a fine, sharp, lustrous, translucent, rich blue color cubic crystal measuring 5 mm beautifully set on the underlying matrix. This piece is from the type locality and great crystals of Boleite are almost impossible to find in today's market. The piece comes with an old Pala Properties label and a former collection card (#273) that states it was acquired at the Washington DC Bicentennial Show on April 30 of 1976. The old price was as mere $37.50, and the specimen is valued at $700 in the inventory.
