In addition to the some of the world's best Garnets, the Jeffrey Mine in Canada can lay claim to some of the finest Pectolite crystals found. This piece features well-formed clusters of bladed to tabular Pectolite crystals have excellent luster, slight gemminess, and are a light shade of green on very minor matrix. The largest crystal actually measures 2.1 cm, which is very good for the species and the locality. This piece likely dates to the 1970s or early 1980s. A large and very fine specimen for this famous mine. This locailty is totally finished, and will never produce these amazing Pectolites again.
