Item Description

A striking and RARE large ferberite and quartz combination from this renowned locale. A classic, large, 6.4 x 6.3 x 2.4 cm, cluster of splendent, striated, jet-black, terminated parallel-growth tabular ferberite crystals is dramatically attached to the base of two artistically intergrown RARE for the locale, REVERSE quartz scepters. The scepters, to 8.7 cm, have sharply terminated gem tips with glass-clear to lightly frosted faces. The larger bodies are translucent with more heavily frosted prism faces. The striking upright quartz looks like it has a phantom, but is actually the underlying tip of the stalk. The attachment on the back hosts a myriad of tiny pearlescent muscovite books with tiny bright pyrites. This surreal 360-degree combination is nearly pristine, with only trivial, mostly out-of-sight termination edge wear to the dominating quartz crystal. A fantastic looking and RARE large Panasqueira combination. Valued at $1750-2000.
