High quality natural citrine quartz crystals are very uncommon worldwide. This impressive, elongated, water-clear in the upper half to translucent in the lower half, sharply terminated obelisk has rich variable golden-amber color and lightly frosted faces with subtle stepped-growth. Complete all-around and nearly pristine. The termination has a trivial bit of bruising, which is mostly on the back side. This striking and colorful crystal is technically doubly terminated, as the contacted base is rehealed. Excellent and facinating material. This recent find from Zambia elevates the species.
