An adorable and rare thumbnail cluster of classic, gemmy, rich cherry-red rhodochrosite scalenohedrons from the famous late 1970s finds at the N'Chwaning I Mine. The crystals have rare and unusual flattened pinacoidal terminations, adding much pizzazz to this rare style cutie. The crystals have frosted faces and terminations, but the contacted lower areas reveal the striking true gemminess and vibrant red hue of the crystals. A very fine example of this rare varietal.
