Item Description

A classic and excellent benitoite thumbnail from the famous Type Locality. A textbook, hexagonal, gemmy/translucent benitoite crystal has lightly frosted/etched faces and fine sapphire-blue color. It is aesthetically set on the partial, starkly contrasting snow-white natrolite-covered serpentine matrix. White-blue fluorescence. Valued by the former dealer at $300.
