Item Description
Scintillating rich fields of black cubic murdochite microcrystals are scattered on both sides of the iron oxide-tinted quartz crystal rib on this rich, colorful and showy combination rib from this obscure small mine in Chile. Murdochite is a rare Cu-Pb oxyhalide secondary mineral found in the oxidized zones of lead-copper deposits. Deep blue linarite and powder-blue chrysocolla on one side are a colorful accent to this aesthetic and uncommon combination rarity.
