Surreal, colorful, multi-generational large cobaltoan calcite with aragonite from this well-known Chinese mine. Pods of glassy, colorless aragonite spikes are strategically set on the dramatic sculptural mult-hued calcite matrix. Vivid pink bubbly cobaltoan calcite botryoids comprise the lower section of the piece, with larger rounded pastel-pink botryoids dominating the upper portion. Scattered isolated glassy aragonite blades at the top are a fine accessory. Even the base is fantastic looking, with the vuggy banded multi-hued calcite, aragonite and matrix.
