Item Description

Glassy tabular barite blades aesthetically set against intergrown classic gemmy, golden-yellow fluorite cubes form a very showy and uncommon multi-sided combination from the famous Hilton Mine. The beautiful and prominent penetration twin is 1.9 cm. The interior field of the fluorites is in great shape. Some periphery bruising is noted with both species, but is certainly acceptable in the context of this rare and attractive combination from the Dr. Stephen Moreton Collection. Rich purple fluorescence, as you would expect.
