Item Description

Gem, gorgeous, exceptional rich emerald-green fluorite cubes on this impressive and rich large specimen from this extinct (2002) limestone quarry. The beautiful interpenetrating cubes, to 2.2 cm, are dramatically and aesthetically isolated on the large sculptural matrix plate covered with smaller fluorites. This green color richness is very uncommon from here and is the match for specimens from the famous nearby Heights and Rogerley Mines. In great shape overall, with only a couple of hard-to-see gently bruised corners to the large crystals and a dinged crystal on the left edge. Rich purple fluorescence. Ex Dr. Stephen Moreton Collection and collected in 1998. This super piece is illustrated in the MINDAT locality Photo Gallery with a September, 2018 photo by Dr. Moreton. The crystal isolation is over the top on this large beauty. Valued at $1750-2000 for size, quality and rarity.
