Item Description

A sculptural, impressive and aesthetic aquamarine with schorl specimen from a NEW FIND in the Erongos. A striking upright parallel-growth pair of aquas, to 4.9 cm, dominates this dramatic 3-dimensional piece. The very glassy and lustrous, textbook hexagonal crystals have rich blue color. All of the crystals have very gemmy termination areas, with typically crackly lower sections. The flatlying aquas are terminated and the largest, at 3.9 cm, is doubly terminated. The jackstraw placement of the aquas is fantastic and artistic and the attached schorls are super accessories on the feldspar matrix. All 6 major crystals are pristine. DIRECT from the miners, as the iron oxides have not been cooked off of the piece. Here's your chance to get an outstanding sculptural and rich example from a NEW FIND! No new significant material has come out in at least 5 years. Fairly valued at $2000-2250 and worth it. A major specimen from the find.
