Item Description

Mirror-bright, brass-yellow, well-striated pyritohedrons, to 1.3, are aesthetically scattered in the mounded glassy quartz point matrix. Some of the pyrites have beautiful iridescence, adding pizzazz. Comes with a 1960s-70s era label. We believe this excellent and uncommon combination is from the historic and still active gold, silver and copper mines around the city of Cananea. Rarely on the market.
