Item Description

Dramatically sculptural and colorful large combination material from famed Mina Ojuela. The striking vugs, in very dense sturdy layered gossan matrix host three species for which, Ojuela is famed. The imposing curved large vug is highlighted by the beautiful nested cluster of classic teal-blue rosasite botryoids contrasted against the rich lining of sprays of tiny gemmy, emerald-green aurichalcite needles. The well-placed central vug is lined with powder-blue rosasite and brown oxide nodules and the elongated cleft on the left side is lined with very glassy, gemmy hemimorphite crystals on one side starkly contrasted with more aurichalcite sprays on the other side. A classic and extremely showy large Ojuela combination from the Dr. Barratt Phillips Collection.
