Item Description

An adorable and sculptural silver-copper halfbreed miniature specimen from Houghton County. Three euhedral silver crystals, to 1.3 cm, are aesthetically attached to the top of the curved stacked cluster of subhedral copper crystals The bright patina of both the copper and silver is from a light cleaning. Ex Kay Robertson Collection # 5328 and acquired from Al McGuinness in the mid-1960s. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record).
