Datolite included by Copper (old!)

Item Description

An OLD-TIME, showy polished datolite section from this well-known Copper Country locality at the tip of the Keweenaw Peninsula. Sections of mostly bone-white porcelaneous nodule are nicely tinted red by desirable copper inclusions. Some of the very finest Copper Country datolites come from here and this is an excellent and classic old example. From an East Coast collection and comes with faded, water-stained and torn century-old label.
