Item Description

A super 1.8 cm, compound cuboctahedral carrollite crystal is dramatically perched atop a large calcite cleavage on this striking small cabinet combination specimen from a New Find at this well-known locale. The splendent silver-metallic crystal has remarkable form and the superb luster that is characteristic of this rare Cu-Co-Ni sulfosalt. This very fine 360-degree crystal is in fine shape. An edge bruise is out-of-sight on the back side of the crystal. The embedded sections of golden chalcopyrite and more carrollites add pizzazz and color. This new find resets the modern standard! The size, high quality and combination form rate this as a fine combination specimen. Here is your chance to obtain a very fine matrix carrollite octahedron at a very reasonable price point. Modest pink calcite fluoresence.
