Item Description

Mineral specimens from this obscure, extinct Washington mine are RARE. This RARE large plate is richly covered with secondary copper minerals - rare euchroite and langite. Festooned with tiny, gemmy emerald-green euchroite crystals, the adjacent light blue-green lattice works of langite lathes are a colorful contrast. Ex Kay Robertson Collection # 8903 and acquired from well-known Washington collector and dealer, Bart Cannon, at the 1980 Tucson Show. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017). RARE in this combination richness, size and quality. A MUST for the species or locality collector.
