Item Description

Twisted smoky quartz gwindels are a Swiss classic and this is a very fine small cabinet. It has an evident and obvious twist! The limpid, glassy crystal has fine light smoky color, textbook twisted form, jagged terminations on both ends and is included and coated with chlorite. Essentially pristine, the contacting on one side, has very little, if any damage. Probably from the Giuv Valley, Tujetsch, Grischun. Ex Ted Bartels Collection. A choice and sculptural 360-degree twisted gwindel. Fairly valued at $1500-2000. This is the last of the fancy gwindels we have left to auction.
