Gorgeous, gem to gemmy, cherry-red to rose-red rhodochrosite scalenohedrons are aesthetically clustered in the sculptural rolling vug lined with contrasting goethite botryoids on this showy and excellent small cabinet from the famous Uchucchacua Mine of Peru. The striking and beautiful gem cherry-red crystal is 8 mm. The piece displays well without aid. Classic rhodo from the W.S. Logan Rhodochrosite Collection. Valued at $300.
