Pyrite (with rare "Cathedral Gothic" faces) (rare locality specimen)

Item Description

A VERY hard to find Pyrite specimen from the El Cobre Mine showing rarely seen, distinctive "Cathedral Gothic" faces on a few sides of the sharp, lustrous, metallic, golden cubic crystal. You can see slight octahedral modifications on the corners giving the piece good character. The luster is fairly bright on the piece, so it was rather difficult to photograph, but I did my best to show off these beautiful arch patterns on the cube faces. One of the very few Pyrites that I have offered from this famous copper producing locality, and possibly the ONLY one with "Cathedral Gothic" faces!
