Item Description

A striking and beautiful, 2.8 cm, adamite "ball" is aesthetically set on the sturdy gossan matrix plate on this superb example from famed Mina Ojuela. The very glassy, sparkly, translucent ball is composed of a myriad of desirable pretty yellow-green adamite blades with chisel terminations. The sculptural matrix plate is festooned with tiny, scintillating adamites with chisel terminations and a scattering of calcite crystals. Classic form and outstanding old-time adamite from the Scott Williams Collection. His label dates from 1955-1963. Ex James Zigras Mexico Collection. Fairly valued at $1750-2000. Neon-green fluorescence, as you would expect!
