Smoky Quartz w/ Chrysocolla (RARE combo & rare locale)

Mineral specimens are very uncommon from the much less well-known Caraveli Province of Arequipa Department, Peru. This is an EXTREMELY RARE, striking and colorful combination specimen from a most obscure mine, that MINDAT does not list. A limpid, lustrous, sharply terminated light smoky quartz crystal is dramatically coated on one side with bright rich turquoise-blue botryoidal chrysocolla! The quartz crystal is pristine. RARE combination material from a recent small find.
