Item Description

Renowned for linarite, Arizona's Grand Reef Mine has also produced fine cerussite specimens, although they are far less common. A sharp adamantine luster cyclically-twinned thumbnail crystal is nicely accented with attached matrix. The bit of noted bruising has minimal impact to the overall excellent quality and form of this crystal. Collected by well-known Arizona field collectors Dick Morris and Mark Hay in the Summer of 1988. Ex Bruce Murphy Arizona Collection and acquired from them in 2004.
