Item Description

A showy cluster of intergrown fluorite octahedrons nicely accented with contrasting flattened calcite rhombs from this famous Chinese mine. The frosted faces add pizzazz to the these pretty blue-green, lustrous and translucent crystals. The octos reach 6.5 cm and this crystal is doubly terminated in one of the several fine views of the piece. An uncommon style and color, as many fluorites from here are cubes and have a greener color. Modest purple fluorescence. Ex Ted Bartels Collection.
