Striking starbursts and sprays of glassy, gemmy, bi-colored, tetragonal apophyllite crystals are aesthetically scattered on tan stilbite crystals on this outstanding large plate from Ahmadnagar. The crystals have rich mint-green bodies and limpid colorless terminations. The fantastic starburst along one edge is 5.8 cm wide and a corner starburst is 4.7 cm across. The style and form of these apophyllite clusters is certainly one of the most desirable from any Maharashtra locale. An exceptional large apophyllite and stilbite combination from India.
