Manganoan Calcite (2017 find - fluorescent!)

Dramatically sculptural manganoan calcite from a 2017 find at this now famous mine. The tapered tabular pair look just like to twin smokestacks! The terminated, very sharp hexagonal, lustrous, translucent, pretty pastel-pink crystals are accented with lighter pink terminations, adding character. Very interestingly, the crystals are slightly bent and the front has less shimmering satin luster, than the vuggy back! Pristine. A very fine example of the find and striking varietal. Striking neon-orange fluorescence.
