Item Description

RARE high quality Pennsylvania quartz from an obscure closed locality. A 4.3 cm limpid sharply terminated crystal is jauntily attached to the crystal plate. The large terminated crystal is 9.2 cm long. Nearly pristine, with only gentle bruising to the tip of the upright crystal. The piece displays well from either side and the crystal quality is comparable to fine Arkansas material, but is infinitely rarer! High praise. Older material collected by Tom Hales in 1968 and formerly in the Ted Bartels Collection. SELDOM on the market. A must for the locality or species collector.
