Item Description

A fantastic looking and colorful 360-degree specimen from famed Mina Ojuela. All of the numerous vugs in the striking boxwork gossan matrix are lined with nubby aggregates of brown to black manganese or iron oxides. Dramatically and colorfully, vugs on one side of the piece are festooned with spherical aggregates of pretty teal-blue rosasite needles, while vugs on the other side have far fewer rosasites. Outstanding older material from the 1960s or 70s from an East Coat collection and with multiple fine display views.
