Item Description

Sharply trigonal form higlights this beautiful, gemmy and lustrous, bi-colored tourmaline from Pech. The very glassy well-striated limpid body varies from teal-green to teal-blue and is separated by a striking phantom. The frosted etched pyramidal termination is olive-green to teal-green. Complete all-around and nearly pristine, with only a bit of contacting at the very interesting slightly bent base and a trivial bit of edge wear on the termination. Choice and unusual Pech tourmaline from the Uwe Strauss Collection. 5.1 grams or just over 25 carats mass.
