Krohnkite, a rare hydrated Na-Cu sulfate is a signature species and Type Locality for this famous mine, the world's largest open pit copper mine. Sharply crystallized krohnkite is EXTREMELY RARE, as nearly all specimens are elongated fibrous masses. This outstanding small cabinet is covered with sharp, intergrown, translucent, rich turquoise-blue crystals. Very rare, rich and superb old-time material collected in the early 1900s. Valued at $1000-1250 as a superb small cabinet crystallized example of the species.
