Fabulous iridescent magenta and peacock-blue chalcopyrite dramatically and artistically covers the dolomite matrix on this VERY RARE old-timer from this historic old and extinct copper mine started in the 1700s. Sharp dolomite rhombs to 1.3 cm cover the large sculptural crystallized dolomite matrix. The dolomite was originally marketed as ankerite, but later tests proved this to be dolomite. RARE and colorful combination material from the Renaud Vochten Collection.
