An impressive and sculptural large specimen of intergrown calcite crystals from Elmwood. A gorgeous, highly desirable, 11.2 cm, golden-amber, doubly terminated and twinned calcite crystal is dramatically set atop the piece. It is attached to an even larger 14.3 cm doubly terminated crystal. The stacked cluster of doubly terminated crystals below and a bit of sphalerite adds even more character to this striking large and artistic piece. The beautiful golden crystal is essentially pristine. The large calcite has barely noticeable gently cleaved tips. This is an outstanding and classic large architectural calcite with glassy, gemmy, highly lustrous and richly colored crystals from Elmwood. Valued at $1500-2500.
