Item Description

Intergrown, sparkly spherical aggregates of tiny, translucent marigold-orange rhodochrosite rhombs richly line two vugs in the sculptural undulating quartz-rich matrix. The vugs are in great shape and the noted bruising has minimal impact to this fine showy rich example. Ex W.S. Logan Collection # X135-6. This is a common color and form rhodo from the historic polymetallic mines of this area. Specimens are not that common.
