Item Description

Exceptional, rare and showy combination material from the famous Uchucchacua Mine. Pleasing pink nubby spherical aggregates of tiny lustrous, flattened rhodochrosite rhombs cover the mounded rhodo matrix with a thin layer of sulfides at the base. The numerous, attractively scattered small clusters of sparkly tiny metallics include pyrite, laminated tennantite, acanthite AND red proustite crystals intergrown together. The red proustites are hard to see, but are there. The sprays of gemmy quartz points are super accessories. Ex W.S. Logan Collection # X46. Choice, showy and RARE combination material from this famous locale..
