Item Description

Siderite is a common accessory mineral of the famous mines at Bisbee, but is uncommon in excellent specimens. Sparkly chocolate-brown, translucent sharp rhombs are festooned on the dramatic and sculptural super vuggy large matrix. Choice, desirable and very uncommon in this richness, quality and size old-time material from the Paterson Museum Collection. It was presented as a gift from the Copper Queen Mining Company on August 7, 1939.
